Police arrested listed top terrorist Joynal Mirja, 28, accused in 22 criminal cases, including two sensational murders, from Radhaballov area in the city this afternoon, police said.Acting on a tip off, a special police team led by Inspector Hossain Ali of Kotwali thana conducted a raid in the area and caught him at 4.45 pm.Arrested Joynal Mirja hailed from the Radhaballov area in the city.He is prime accused of sensational murders of dish antenna trader Bullet and Jubo Dal leader MIlan in addition to 20 other criminal cases including mugging, dacoity, robbery, drug and other criminal cases pending with Kotwali police station.Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kotwali Thana Abdul Kader Zilani told BSS tonight that police had been trying to arrest absconding Mirja as he created a reign of terror and crimes in different areas of the city for a lon.The people of Radhaballov, Dhap Pasharipara, Khalifapara, Kotkipara, Lalkuthi, Dhap, R K Road and other areas of the divisional city expressed their satisfaction knowing the news of Mirja’s arrest and got relieved of his terrorism and crimes.BSS, Rangpur
