Man dies of cold in Northern BD district Nilphamari

Dhaka – A middle-aged man died of cold-related problems at Darkamarar Bridge village in Domar upazila of Nilphamari district in Northern Bangladesh on Monday night as shivering cold hit the area.The deceased was identified as Abu Taleb, 48, son of late Abdul Quader of the village.
Jorabari union parishad chairman Ahsan Ahmed said Taleb suddenly fell sick in his house around 8:30 pm due to biting cold.
He died on the way to hospital, he said.
Member from ward-1 of the union Khalilur Rahman said they had been experiencing shivering cold since December 1 but the situation turned worse on Monday with incessant rain in the district from 8:30 am to 5 pm. – UNB
