Dhaka – Members of Border Guard Bangladesh arrested a man along with 3 kg silver from Benapole Check-post in Sharsha upazila in Jessore on Friday morning.The arrestee was identified as Selim Gazi, 41, son of Fazlul Haque, hailing from Chandpur district.Subedar Abdul Wahab of BGB-49 Benapole ICP camp said a team of the paramilitary force challenged Selim after he crossed the international passenger terminal while returning home from India around 9 am.Later, they recovered the silver after searching his luggage.The arrestee was handed over to Benapole Port Police Station.UNB news agency
