Dhaka – A man was killed in a clash over a land dispute at Nishchintopur village in Sadar upazila in Thakurgaon on Tuesday morning.The deceased was identified as Mamun, 40, son of Yasin, a resident of the village,UNB News Agency Reported.
Moshiur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said Mamun had a long standing dispute with one Ratan of the same village over a piece of land.As Mamun went to the land for planting trees around 7am on Tuesday Ratan and his followers attacked Mamun, leaving him critically injured.Later he succumbed to his injuries on the way to Sadar hospital around 7.30am.On information, police recovered the body and also arrested Ratan in this connection.
