On Thursday evening a man was killed and his mother injured in a road crashed in Jhenidah. The incident occurred near Bokshipur villagr on Shailkupa-Hatfazilpur road under Shailkupa upazila of the district.The deacesed was identified as Tokon Joarder, 35 son of Halim Joarder of Hatfazilpur village under the upazila.
The injured is his mother Jorina begum,55 received seriously injures. She has beed admitted to Shailkupa local health complex.
Officer in charge (OC) Anwar Hossain of Shailkupa police station said, on Thursday evening at around 7.00 pm Tokon and his mother were returnnig his house from Shailkupa upazila town riding on a motor bike. When they reached near Bokshipur village a Hatfazilpur bound passenger bus hit them from behind and leaving them serious injured. Instantly, locals rescued them and admit to Shailkupa local health complex where Tokon succumbed to injures.
