Dhaka -A court here on Thursdayawarded death sentence to a man as he killed his wife over a family feud at Sukhari Dakkinpara villageof Atpara upazila in Netrokona in 2017. The court also fined him tk. 20,000. The convict was identified as Jamal Uddin Sarker, 45, son of late Esar Uddin Sarkerof Sukhari Dakkinpara village of Atpara upazila in the district.
According to case statement, Jamal strangulated his wife Ruma Akter 33 daughter of Abdul Aziz, to death over a family feud on November 28 of 2017 and on the next day surrendered to the police.UNB
