Police recovered the body of a man with the throat slit from Gaserdiar village in Daulatpur upazila on Saturday.
The identity of the deceased, aged around 30, could not be ascertained immediately.
Bheramara senior ASP (Circle) CA Halim said locals spotted the body of the unidentified man lying in a field at the village in the morning and informed police.
The body was recovered and sent to the district hospital morgue for an autopsy. -UNB, Kushtia
