Media boot camp begins at Rajshahi University

Rajshahi, March 08 – A three-day Media Tech Challenge Boot Camp-2019, jointly organized by Mass-communication and Journalism department (MCJ), Computer Science and Engineering department (CSE) of Rajshahi University and Deutsche Welle (DW) Academy of Germany began on campus on Friday.
Chairman of MCJ department Prof A Abdul Mamun, Chairman of CSE department Prof Bimol Kumar Pramanik, Project Manager of Asian Region of DW Andria Marshell and its Bangladesh Consultant Dr. Lutfa Ahmed spoke at the LAB inauguration program of CEC department on the day.
Trainer of DW Markash Boyesh , Olga Kisleman, and Daniel Sidz conducted the program.
A Total of 40 competitors are taking part at the function where besides the students of MCJ and CEC departments many national media workers will take part in the competition.
It is expected that, amid the competition, marking and prevention of the fake news, extension of journalism, enriching establishment in online, monetary beneficial and learning tactic will be created.
Two lakhs taka will be separately given to the winner for their best ideas.
The prize giving ceremony of the occasion will be held at the dean’s complex of the university on 10 March. – RU Correspondent
