Dhaka- A woman was hacked to death allegedly by her ‘mentally challenged son’ at Sagrampur village in Khetlal upazila on Thursday morning.The deceased was identified as Rezia Begum, wife of Badsha Miah.Quoting locals Akram Hossain, officer-in-charge of Khetlal Police Station, said Palash Hossain, 23, who had been suffering from mental disorder, hacked his mother with a sharp weapon as he failed to get a cigarette from her mother, leaving her dead on the spot.On information, police recovered the body.Police arrested Palash.UNB
