Dhaka – A minor girl drowned in a pond at Mollapara in Rajshahi on Sunday.The deceased was identified as Saila Khatun, 7, a student of class II of Rajshahi Provat School and daughter of Shariful Islam of the area,UNB News Agency Reported.
Officer-in-charge of Rajpara Police Station Aman Ullah said Saila drowned in a pond near her house while she was taking bath at about 1:00pm.After a hectic search, locals recovered the body from the pond around 2:30pm.
