A minor girl was killed and another injured in a road accident in front of Kalkini Press Club here this morning.
The deceased was Sima Akhter, 6, daughter of general secretary of the club Iqbal Hossain.Police said the accident occurred when a speedy motorcycle hit the duo in the area at about 10 am as they were crossing the road, leaving them injured. The injured were sent to Kalkini Upazila Health Complex where Sima succumbed to her injuries.
