Dhaka – A seven-month-old girl was stabbed to death and her elder sister injured as miscreants attacked their house at Jaruliya village in Chunarughat upazila in Habiganj early Monday.The deceased was identified as Nipa, daughter of Liton, a resident of the village.Nirmolendu Chakrabarty, officer-in-charge of Habiganj Police Station,said a gang of miscreants broke into the house of Liton and stabbed his two daughters around 1.00am which left Nipa dead on the spot and Ripa critically injured,UNB News Agency Reported.
The miscreants left the scene after the incident.On information, police recovered the body.‘The reason behind murder is not clear, we are investing the incident,’ said the OC.
