Mohila Awami League protests violence in Rangpur

Leaders of Mohila Awami League (MAL) at a human chain and protest rally strongly protested the blockade, hartal, violence, killings and destructions of the BNP-led 20-party alliance in the name of political movement.
The district unit of MAL organised the programme at Katchari Bazaar in the city on Tuesday condemning the 20-party alliance also for hindering the SCC examinations, subversive activities, killings of the innocent people by hurling petrol bombs.Presided over by President of district unit of MAL Advocate Shafia Khanom, its General Secretary Rosy Rahman, Joint Secretary Latifa Shawkat and other leaders addressed the protest rally.General Secretary of district Awami League Advocate Rezaul Karim Raju, its Office Secretary Tauhidur Rahman Tutul, President of city AL Shafiar Rahman Shafi and its General Secretary Tushar Kanti Mandal also spoke.Narrating the anti[-people activities of the BNP-Jamaat-led 20-party alliance to destabilise the country, the speakers urged the common people for unitedly stopping the killings, terrorism, militancy and violence in the name of political movements.They said the vested quarters have desperately engaged their efforts in destabilising the country and hindering development activities through conducting anarchy, terrorism, destructions, hurling petrol bomb and killing innocent people.The present pro-people government with the common people will prevent the terrorists from conducting anarchy and subversive activities through talking stern actions to ensure normal dynamism in public life, peace and tranquility in the society, they said.They asked the common people and pro-liberation forces for forging a rock-solid unity against the violence being conducted by the BNP-Jamaat-led 20-party alliance for ensuring dynamism in public life, peace and tranquility in the society. –BSS, Rangpur
