Dhaka – A young housewife allegedly committed suicide after killing her minor daughter at Poly Khiar Mahmudpur village in Birampur upazila in Dinajpur on Sunday evening.The victims are Sumi Akhter Latifa, 35, wife of Tofazzal Hossain of the village, and their daughter Nasrim Akhter, 9.Katla union parishad Chairman Nazir Hossain said Tofazzal beat his wife in the afternoon over a family feud and went out of their house.Locals found Sumi hanging from the ceiling and Nasrin lying dead on the floor around 7:30pm.Officer-in-charge of Birampur Police Station Mokhlesur Rahman said police went to the spot on information.
