Dhaka- A motorcyclist was killed and his co-rider injured as a truck crashed into their motorbike on Jessore-Khulna Highway in Jessore on Wednesday.The deceased was identified was Shawon Mallik, son of Mominur of Dihi village of Sharsha upazila while the injured was Sazal.Officer-in-Charge of Kotwali Police Station said the speeding truck hit the motorcycle Shawon and Sazal were riding at Rupadia on the highway in the evening, leaving them injured critically.They were taken to Jessore General Hospital where doctor declared Shawon dead while Sazal was referred to Dhaka for better treatment, the OC added.UNB news agency
