A motorcyclist was killed and his two co-riders were injured in a road accident at Shemolgachhi in Sharsha upazila on Wednesday noon.
The deceased was identified as M Rezau, 50, son of Nurul Haque of Rajnagar village in the upazila.
Officer-in-charge of Sharsha Police Station Golam Kibria said the accident took place at noon as a speeding truck hit a motorbike carrying three men, including Razaul, from the opposite direction on way to Benapole, leaving Rezaul dead on the spot and two others injured.The critically injured were taken to Jessore Medical College Hospital, the OC added -UNB, Jessore
