A man was killed in a road accident in Ansar area of Bagha union in Golapganj upazila of the district on Saturday afternoon.The deceased was identified as Zahid Ahmed, 29, son of Kholku Mia, a resident of the district town.Police said the accident took place at around 2.00pm when a tractor knocked down the motorcycle Zahid was ridding leaving him dead on the spot.Later police sent the body to Osmani Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy. -UNB, Sylhet
