Finance Minister AMA Muhith left Dhaka on Saturday for Kolkata of India on a four-day visit, said a press release.
During the visit, the finance minister will attend the annual get together of South Kolkata Sylhet Association and All India Federation of Sreehatta Sammilanis scheduled to be held on January 12-13 at Jodhpur Park Boy’s Ground.
On Monday, the minister will visit Shantiniketan where he will stay for a night before coming back to Kolkata the next day.
The finance minister, also ruling Awami League lawmaker, is accompanied by his wife Sabia Muhith and daughter Samina Muhith.
Muhith is scheduled to return home on Wednesday afternoon./banglanews24.com
