The cover of Sayed Mahmud Hasan Mukut’s second book of poetries ‘Mon Chuyeche Nil Shari Nil Tip” was unveiled at the Ekushey Book Fair of Bangla Academy on Friday.
Former minister Mizanur Rahman Shelley, eminent novelist and writer Ali Iman, editor of GreenWatch Dhaka Mostafa Kamal Majumder, Former captain of nat onal football team Zakaria Pintu, community leader of Munshiganj Abdus Quddus Dhiren unveiled the cover of the book at the Nazrul Manch of the academy at a simple ceremony.The book contains 55 poems composed by Sayed Mahmud Hasan Mukut, and has been dedicated to his parents, Samsunnahar Chanu, Sayed Saidur Rahman and elder brother Sayed Mehedi Hasan Kawsar. It’s attractive cover has been designed by Dhrubho Esh. The 68-page book has been priced Taka 150.
A social worker Sayed Mahmud Hasan is the acting editor of the Monthly Bikrampur, the general secretary of the Munshiganj IFC river and environment committee, coordinator of Touching Souls International, general secretary of Sirajdikhan Press Club and president of Chander Haat, Kusumpur uniit.
The poems composed by him reflect the amiable personality with which he efficiently runs the activities of the organisations he is associated with. – News Desk
