Brahmanbaria, Aug 13 – A fire broke out at a multi-storey building at Mohadevpotti in the district town on Sunday night. Senior station officer at Brahmanbaria Fire Service Shakira Haider said the fire broke out in a crockeries showroom of the building from an electric short-circuit and it then engulfed other shops.
On information, two fire-fighting units rushed in and doused the fire after several hours of frantic efforts.
The losses and damages caused by the fire could not be ascertained yet. – UNB
