With the slogan of ‘Janbe Jodi, Jagbe Nodi’, National River Olympiad-2016 for Mymensingh division was held at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) campus on Saturday.Riverine People and Samakal Shurid Samabesh jointly organized the Olympiad held at the agriculture faculty conference room of the university.
BAPA general secretary Abdul Matin inaugurated the Olympiad through releasing a bunch of balloons while the event started with the national anthem.
About 150 students from different universities and colleges took part in the event. The Olympiad will also be held in the eight divisional cities of the country.-BAU Correspondent:
