Dhaka – Two motorcycle riders were killed and another injured in a road crash when it collided head-on with a bus in Katakhali Samshadipur area near in Rajshahi on Friday evening.The deceased were indentified as Shuvo, 25, son of Moktar Hossain,and Golam Rabbani, 35, son of late Abu Taher. Both were residents of Katakhali Chalkbelgharia Bakhrabaj area.Sub-inspector of Matihar Police Station Brojo Gopal said a Rajshahi bound bus of ‘Desh Travels’ hit a motorcycle carrying the three riders coming from the opposite direction in Samshadipur area near the city around 5:30pm,UNB news agency reported.Motorcycle riders Shuvo died on the spot while his co-rider Golam Rabbani succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital, he added.Acting officer-in-charge of Matihar Police Station Humayun Kabir said another co-rider Harun-Or-Rashid was taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) for treatment.The bus was seized but the driver, helper and supervisor managed to flee away after the incident, he added.
