Pro-BNP Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum on Saturday announced a 5-day programme, including court boycott on Sunday, in protest against police obstruction to their scheduled rally on the Supreme Court premises.
Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum president Rafiqul Islam Miah declared the programme from a rally held at the Jatiya Press Club.
Being barred by the police from holding its protest rally on the Supreme Court premises, Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum held the programme at the Jatiya Press Club.
Rafiqul Islam Miah said the lawyers will boycott court proceedings from 10.30 am to 1 pm on Sunday to register their protest against the police action.
The other programme includes bringing out black-flag processions on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday while forming human chains at bar associations across the country on Tuesday. – UNB
