Dhaka: Md Nazmul Quaunine on Friday took over the charge as new Bangladesh High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.
He succeeds MA Hannan who went on retirement recently, according to Bangladesh High Commission in London. UNB News Agency Reported.
Nazmul served as Bangladesh Ambassador to Indonesia before taking up his new assignment.
Besides being the Bangladesh Ambassador to Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), he also served in Bangladesh Embassy in Washington DC, Bangladesh Permanent Mission to the UN in Geneva and Bangladesh High Commissions in Islamabad and London in various capacities.
He belongs to the 1985 batch of BCS (Foreign Affairs) Cadre and obtained an MBBS from Dhaka Medical College.
