Dhaka – The Ain O Salish Kendra (ASK) on Sunday announced the appointment of a new Executive Director of the organisation. In a press release ASK said , “We are happy to inform you that ASK’s new Executive Director Ms. Shipa Hafeeza has joined ASK from 1 April.“Sheepa Hafiza, a renowned human rights activist, is a seasoned executive widely recognized for her expertise in areas including policy advocacy for extreme poverty reduction, programme development, organizational change management, capacity strengthening.
She is also a rights advocate for gender justice, migrant labour rights, says a press release. She has received several national and international awards for her contribution in the field of Gender Justice, social norm change, social communication and migrants’ rights.”
