Dhaka – A newly married housewife was found hanging at Hirapur village in Akhaura upazila in Brahmanbaria on Monday night.The deceased was identified as Jonaki Akhter, 20, wife of Kazi Palash, a resident of the village in Dakhshin union.Md Arifur Amin, officer-in-charge (investigation) of Akhaura Police Station, said that Polash married off Jonaki a month ago.Family members spotted the hanging body of Jonaki from a fan of her room at night and informed police.On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Brahmanbaria General Hospital for an autopsy.UNB news agency
