Nirjhar brings together sixteen singers from Bangaldesh, India

Enamul Karim Nirjhar published 101 songs bringing together 51 vocalists of the country in 2014. All the songs in that album titled “Ek Nirjhar-Er Gaan” were penned and composed by him. Now the architecht and filmmker has released a new album featuring sixteen singers from both Bangladesh and West Bengal. The number of singers is equally divided between the two regions in the album launched on February 14.About these initiatives Nirjhar says that the musicians in the present age have strangely become separated from one another. He is trying to bidge the gaps between artistes. Currently he is working with five Bangaldeshi and three Indian music directors. On every other month a song is getting released after being voiced by either a Bangaldeshi singer or a West Bengal singer under his efforts.
Nirjhar is also looking to bridge gaps between Bangladesh and India in terms of films. The director of the film ‘Aha’ has already taken preparations in this regard. He will elaborate on the issue in Marh.
Nirjhar’s new album of sixteen artistes features Kinjal, Ankan, Sudipta, Joy, Priyangbada, Pintu Ghosh, Riyad as singers and Sourav Chakraborty, Ark Sumon, Anam Biswas, Labik Kamal, Rezaul Karim as musid directors among others.
