No anarchy in movement name to be tolerated: Bd Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan on Tuesday said if BNP tries to unleash any anarchy in the name of movement in the future that will be thwarted at any cost.
“BNP can wage a movement in the coming days as it’s the democratic right of a political party. However, if they want to unleash anarchy in the name of any movement, it’ll be dealt with an iron hand,” he said while talking to reporters after taking charge as the Home Minister again.
The minister said the execution of government’s zero-tolerance policy against militancy will be their first challenge. “We haven’t allowed militancy to raise its ugly head and won’t allow so in the future, too.”
He also said they want to maintain zero tolerance against drug abuse. “The menace of drug abuse will be rooted out from society at any cost.”
Asaduzzaman said efforts will be strengthened to curb terrorism from the country. “Our law enforcement agencies are working with efficiency to uproot terrorism. They’re now well-prepared to keep the law order normal facing any challenge,” he said.He voiced his determination to complete the unfinished works, which he termed as one of his big challenges.
