Three lakh eighty-nine thousand candidates applied through 38 BCS examination only for two thousand twenty-four posts. PSC said that only three lakh forty-six thousand five hundred thirty-two paid their applicant fees. So, a large number of applicants will not able to sit for the BCS examination though they have submitted their application they were not able to pay their application fees.It is really unfortunate that applicants cannot sit for the examination just for not paying the application fees. Candidates have to submit as many applications as they can. Because, jobs are very limited and it is now rear either in government or private services. Cost is not insignificant to complete a job application.
Given the pain of unemployed persons, application fees has been withdrawn from all the jobs in the banking sectors. We urge the concerned authorities to withdraw application fees from all the government, non-government and private services jobs.
