Chattogram, Jan 27 (UNB) – President of North District Awami League unit of the port city Nurul Alam Chowdhury passed away early Sunday. He was 74.
Nurul Alam, also a freedom fighter, was admitted to Park View Hospital in the city on Saturday night as he fell sick. He breathed his last around 5:15am, said family members.
Nurul Alam, the founding president of Chhatra League of Chittagong University unit, was elected MP in the parliament of Bangabandhu at the age of 27.
