It is not understandable why President Obama himself being a highly climate conscious personality has given green signal to Shell to drill two oil exploratory wells in the Arctic Ocean this summer!
Arctic Ocean in the Northern Hemisphere remains covered by ice most time of the year. It is one of the few places on our planet that yet to be touched. Due to rise in temperature and climate change effect the rate of arctic ice melting is increasing. At this critical juncture, drilling in Arctic Ocean is too risky which even put our planet into great danger.May I request Mr. President to review his decision and disallow Shell Oil from drilling wells in the Arctic Ocean in the greater interest of our planet and it’s people.
