Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler along with 10 kilograms of hemp from Railway Station area in Sreemangal upazila on Wednesday.The arrestee was identified as Sagor Miah, son of Sultan Miah, a resident of Singabil area in Brahmanbaria district.Sana Shamimur Rahman, assistant superintendent of police of RAB-9, said on secret information, a team of RAB conducted a drive in the area and arrested Sagor along with 10 kilograms of the cannabis item at about 2:30 pm.The value of the recovered hemp would be Tk 80,000, the ASP added.A case was filed in this connection. -UNB, Moulvibazar
