Police arrested an alleged terrorist with a pistol and four bullets from his possession at Shakharigati village under sadar upazila of the district last night.
The arrested was identified as Jewel Ahmed, 30, of the village.Acting-on a tip-off, a team of police, led by ASI Mamun Hossein, recovered the arms and ammunitions after searching his body at around 8 pm.A case was recorded with Jessore Kotwali Model thana in this connection. –BSS, Jessore
