One was killed and another injured in a road accident on Jamalpur-Tangail road in sadar upazila this morning.The deceased was identified as Arfan Hossain, 35, son of Helal Uddin of Charjotharthapur village in Sadar upazila. Police said the accident occurred when a Madhupur-bound truck hit a battery run easy-bike at Beltia madrasa intersection area, outskirt of the town, leaving Arfan dead on the spot.Besides, Sagor, 20, son of Tajul Islam of Kulurchar village in the same upazila and also driver of the easy-bike critically injured. He was rushed to Jamalpur general hospital, and later shifted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.Police detained the truck, but its driver managed to flee the spot. -BSS, Jamalpur
