One person was killed allegedly by his brothers and other relatives following the conflict over a piece of land at Arunbari village under
Gobratala union of Chapainawabganj sadar upazila on Thursdayafternoon.
The deceased was identified as Ajmal Hossain, 30, son of Yasin Ali of the aforesaid area. SI Ali Akbar of Chapainawabganj sadar thana said, Ajmal had a conflict with his other brothers over the possession of a piece of paternal land. Following this, about 10/12 persons attacked Ajmal with sharp weapons as he came out of his house at around 12-30 pm, he added.
Ajmal died on the spot.
Being informed, police recovered the dead body and sent it to Chapainawabganj sadar hospital morgue for autopsy. None was arrested
in this connection.
