One more arson attack victim dies at DMCH

A man, who suffered burn injuries in a petrol bomb attack in Chandpur district eight days ago, died at the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) early hours on Thursday.The deceased was identified as Khorshed, 32, hailed from Bagachra village of Sharsha upazila in Jessore.Earlier on March 18, a truck driver was burned to death and three others injured in a petrol bomb attack at Chandra in Chandpur Sadar upazila.Police said miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at a Khulna-bound goods-laden truck coming from Chittagong while it was passing through the area around 12:10 am, leaving truck driver Jahangir dead on the
spot and Khorshed, Rubel and Sharif with burn injures.Later, Khorshed was rushed to the burn unit to DMCH where he succumbed to his injuries around 2am on Thursday. -UNB
