Outgoing Danish ambassador in Dhaka Hanne Fugl Eskjær met BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Monday.The nearly one-hour meeting that began around 8pm was held at the BNP chief’s Gulshan residence.
However, there was no briefing from either side about the meeting.
Issues relating to bilateral relations between the two countries and Bangladesh’s latest political situation were discussed at the meeting, BNP chairperson’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told UNB.
BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, and chairperson’s advisers Reaz Rahman and Sabihuddin Ahmed were present.
