Police in this northwestern town today arrested five alleged saboteurs after an accidental explosion of bombs which they were manufacturing at Puspwapara area here.Additional police superintendent Siddiqur Rahman told BSS the explosion blown off both wrists of one of the saboteurs and also wounded seriously another while they were now being treated at Pabna Medical College Hospital under police vigil.“The bombs exploded as they were making bombs raised alarm in the neighbourhood . . . police rushed the scene as informed and arrested the five miscreants,” the official said adding that they all were found to be activists of Jamaat-e-Islami, a crucial ally of BNP.The wounded two activists were identified as Monirul Mandal and Rashidul Islam, both in their early 30s while the three others were Alamgir, Saidur and Yusuf Ali. -BSS, Pabna
