Pak citizen among 3 killed in Narsingdi factory fire

Narsingdi  – Three people, including a Pakistani citizen, were burnt to death and 10 others injured as a fire broke out at a dyeing factory of Pakiza Group at Shekher Char in Sadar upazila on Saturday morning.Station officer of Sadar Fire Service Shawkat Ali Joarder said the fire originated from chemical blast at the dyeing factory, ‘Montex-1’, around 7am and it soon roared through the entire factory, UNB News Agency Reported.The three people– Selim Miah,30, a cook of the factory, Ramjan Ali,26, a worker, and Pakistani citizen Ashik Ali, a colour master of the factory, were burnt alive and 10 others injured, confirmed officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Golam Mostafa.Informed, 11 firefighting units from Sadar, Madhabdi, Polash and Dhaka fire service stations rushed to the spot and doused the blaze around 11:15am.The injured were admitted to different hospitals and clinics in the district.
