Panasonic Open: Siddikur shares 11th slot after first round

Dhaka – Bangladesh’s premier golfer and two-time Asian Tour winner Siddikur Rahman shared the 11th slot with eight other golfers in the Panasonic Open (Golf) carding three-under par 69 after the first round in Gurgaon, India on Thursday.

The last-time runner-up of Panasonic Open, Siddikur Rahman, carded five birdies against two bogeys in the first round.

Other Bangladeshi golfers Badal Hossain shared the 26th place with six other golfers while Shakhawat Sohel the 56th position with another golfer after the first round matches.

Badal carded five birdies against three bogeys to score one-under par 71 while Sohel carded two birdies against six bogeys to score four-over par 76.

Itthipat Buranatanyarat of Thailand clinched the top slot carding eight-under par 64, Danny Masrin of Indonesia followed the leader carding six-under par 66 while Arjun Prasad of India was in the 3rd slot carding five-under par 67.UNB
