Dhaka – A case has been filed against a local Jubo League leader under section 57 of the Information Communication Technology (ICT) Act for allegedly posting an indecent comment on social networking site Facebook against independent MP Dr Md Rustum Ali Faraji.Shahadat Hossain, a follower of the MP from Firojpur-3 constituency, filed the case with Mathbaria Police Station against Bashir Hossain, joint secretary Betmor union unit Jubo League, on Thursday night, said Officer-in-charge of the police station KM Tariqul Islam.In his complaint, Shahadat said Bashir posted an derogatory comment against the independent MP on Facebook which created a bad impression about him among people.Earlier, Faruque Hossain, another follower of the Rustum, filed a case against Nurul Amin Rasel, a Jubo League leader of Sapleza union unit, and Azmal Haque Helal, a senior reporter of vernacular daily the Daily Shokaler Khobor, under the same act a few days ago.UNB news agency
