Dhaka: All kinds of trucks, covered vans and lorries, except the vehicles carrying perishable goods, medicines, fuel oil and ready-made garment, will not be allowed to ply on the highways across the country three before Eid-ul Azha and three days after the festival. UNB News Agency Reported.
The decision came after a meeting of Road Transport and Bridges Ministry on Thursday, said a handout.
The field administrations were asked to take necessary steps against carrying sacrificial animals in vehicles without fitness, the handout added.
