Dhaka– Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Mohammad Javed Patwary said here today they have already identified the people responsible for creating anarchy capitalising recent student protest over demand of road safety in Chandpur.“We have definitely identified many anarchists and taken action against some of them and the rest of others responsible for anarchy would be brought to book,” he said after inaugurating three establishments of police here.
“Several of the anarchists have already been captured and taken some of them on remand and the procedure would be continued until identifying all of the people responsible for the anarchy,” he continued.
Among others, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police Khandoker Golam Faruk, Chandpur district council Chairman Osman Gani Patwary, Deputy Commissioner Md Majedur Rahman, police super Shamsunnahar, and Chandpur Press Club president Iqbal Hossain Patwary, were present on the occasion.BSS
