The Election Commission has requested all concerned to place their opinions on its proposed election code of conduct by November 9. The commission uploaded the draft parliamentary election code of conduct for political parties and candidates on its website – www.ecs.gov.bd – on Sunday seeking opinions about it. Anyone can place opinion with his or her name and address clicking the link of the polls code on the website or sending email to secretary@ecs.gov.bd and dpr@ecs.gov.bd or sending letter to the EC secretariat, said an EC press release on Sunday. On Wednesday, the commission at a meeting finalised the proposed election code of conduct ahead of the 10th parliamentary election which is apparently going to be held under a partisan government and without the dissolution of Parliament. The EC, headed by Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmad, will finalised the election code of conduct after taking public opinion over it.UNB
