Dhaka – A school teacher was found dead at his Syedpur Sarkarpara house in Sadar upazila in Thakurgaon on Thursday.The deceased was identified as Ismail Hossain, an assistant teacher of Gedapara Government Primary School.
Informed by locals, police recovered the hanging body of Ismail from his residence in the afternoon and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue, said Abdul Latif Mia, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police.
The motive behind the murder could be known after postmortem, said the OC.However, Ismail’s wife Baby Begum claimed that sons of Azhar, elder brother of Ismail, killed him over a land dispute in absence of the house inmates.UNB
