Dhaka, June 26 – The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka on Wednesday issued arrest warrants against 78 persons including several students of Dhaka University on the charge of leaking question papers in the Dhaka University admission test. Later, the court set July 30 for submission of compliance report in the case.
Accepting the charge sheet, Magistrate Judge Sarafuzzaman Ansari of the CMM Court passed the order.
Shahbagh Police Station’s court General Registry Officer Sub-Inspector Nizam Uddin informed media men about the warrant of arrest. SI Nizam further said the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Sunday submitted charge sheet against 125 persons over the Dhaka University question paper leak. Out of 125 accused, arrest warrants were issued against 78 while remaining 47 are on bail.
