Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) picked up Jatiya Party chairman HM Ershad from his Baridhara residence on Thursday night.Jatiya Party sources said the elite force members picked Ershad up from his residence after 11:30 pm.
He was taken to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka Cantonment, said Ruhul Amin Howlader, secretary general of Jatiya Party, who was following the RAB vehicle carrying Ershad.
Commanding officer of Rab-1 Col Kismat Hayat told media that Ershad was taken to the CMH as he suddenly fell sick. – Staff Reporter
