RAB seize phencidyl, hemp in Bogra

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) seized 60 bottles phincidyl in a toolbox
of a bus and two kilograms of hemp under the position of two drug
traders from the different places in the district on May 17 and 15.
The RAB team arrested two persons in the connection. The arrestees were Abdul Jalil Dipu, 45, son of late Jhahurul Islam and Md Ratan

Ali, 40, son of late Wahed Ali Akhanda both village Telehata Noya Para
under Gabtoli police station of Bogra district. Sources said two
separate team of RAB conducted drives and seized of the amount of
Phencidyl and hemp. A team conducted to Telehata Noya Para village on
secret information led by RAB-12, Special Company, Bogra Squad
Commander assistant police super (ASP) Abu Sayed and seized two
kilograms of hemp under the arrestee’s position. On an another team of
RAB seized 60 bottles of Phecidyl without owner from Bogra bound bus
which come from Joypurhat with conducted drive at Matidali Biman
crossing area on Dhaka-Rangpur highway led by it’s another acting
company commander Captain Md Masudur Rahman. RAB source said market
price of seized Phencidyl is Tk 30,000 and hemp price is Tk 20,000.
Md. Lutfor Rahman, Inspector (Investigation) of Gabtoli Model Thana
told that Bogra RAB has handed over two drug peddlers with a complaint
then it filed with the police station and sent them to Bogra jail
hazat. Md. Sayed Shaheed Alom, Officer in Charge (OC) of Bogrs shadar
PS also told a General Diary (GD) was filed in the connection of
Phencidyl seized.
