Dhaka, Nov 24 – The Central Ammunition Depot (CAD) of Rajendropur cantonment will destroy useless ammunitions and explosives at its demolition ground at Bartupa village of Mawna under Sreepur police station in Gazipur district on December 13. The CAD ground is situated on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway, some five kilometres south-west of Mawna Bazar point. The destruction of the useless ammunition and explosives will be from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm on the day, said an Inter Service Public Relation (ISPR) media release.
During the period the movement of general people and domestic animals has been prohibited within a four kilometer-radius of the scene of destruction, the release added. – News Desk
