Rajshahi Kings rope in Mohammad Hafeez for BPL

Rajshahi Kings added Pakistani all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez to their side for the upcoming edition of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) scheduled to kick off from January 5 next year.
“Yes, we have signed him for the next season,” Mostakim Hossain, media manager of the Kings, told UNB.“He will play five matches from the beginning of the tournament and then, he might join the Pakistan team for their series against South Africa,” he added.
Hafeez was scheduled to play for Comilla Victorians in the last BPL but skipped the tournament to correct his bowling action.The Pakistani all-rounder has played 252 T20 matches and scored 5,317 runs with two centuries and 30 fifties. Hafeez’s inclusion will boost the confidence of the Kings who had to rely on young local players in the last BPL. They finished sixth among seven teams.
